About the Event
The Twin Lights Cup 2025
"Casting Hope Across Horizons: Uniting Community and Enhancing Mental Wellness through the Power of Fishing."
Our Mission
The Rice Wealth Foundation was created with one simple goal: to better our community and do good in the world. For the 2025 Twin Lights Cup, they are proud to support two incredible beneficiaries:
Monmouth County Mental Health Association – providing essential resources, advocacy, and programs that promote mental wellness in our community.
Operation Freedom Paws is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers veterans, first responders, children, and individuals with disabilities by teaching them to train their own service dogs. Through a year-long training program, participants are paired with rescued shelter dogs and learn together to build certified service dog teams. Provided at no cost, this life-changing partnership restores independence, confidence, and healing for both the individual and the dog.
This year’s event proceeds will be split 50/50 between these two organizations, ensuring meaningful impact both locally and nationally.
The Tournament
The Twin Lights Cup is an exciting one-day inshore fishing tournament on the Jersey Shore that brings together captains, mates, and veterans for an unforgettable experience. Local professional fishing guides generously donate their boats and expertise, making this the premier striped bass event in the region.
More than just a tournament, the Twin Lights Cup creates a meaningful day on the water for wounded veterans while raising funds to support critical causes. Proceeds from the 2025 event will be shared equally between the Monmouth County Mental Health Association and Operation Freedom Paws, helping expand access to vital mental health services and empowering veterans, through life-changing service dog partnerships
