PARTNERS IN INDEPENDENCE (PII)

Description of Services:
Partners in Independence is a free Supportive Housing program that provides in-home supportive services to adults with psychiatric disorders who are at risk for homelessness. Individuals are provided the necessary support so that they may achieve personal goals and maintain their independent residence in the community. MHA staff provides an array of individually tailored services including clinical assessment, counseling, case management, transportation, and assistance with activities that are based on priciples of wellness and recovery.
The program is offered on an outreach basis in the client’s home in order to help them in their recovery process to live full and independent lives.
Client Eligibility:
Adults with serious mental illness who are also at risk for homelessness.
Level of Service:
PII has succeeded in keeping 60 residing independently in the community.

PII is funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health Services and the Monmouth County Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
RED BANK RESOURCE NETWORK (RBRN)

Description of Services:
The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County's Family Resource Network is located in Red Bank. The purpose of this program is to provide information and referral, create linkages with vital social services and advocacy efforts and support. Additional services and events are scheduled as identified through a coalition of stakeholders who serve as a community advisory board to RBRN.
The Red Bank Rersource Network is located at 101-103 Suite B Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank offering walk-in hours.
Client Eligibility:
Any resident of the greater Red Bank, NJ area is eligible.

RBRN is funded by foundations and grants.

MHA provides social work outreach to consumers at varied locations known to the Monmouth County community as sites for homeless or potentially homeless individuals to frequent or gather.
